Building and operating contemporary bioclimatic educational facilities for students coming from a multicultural environment constitutes a major challenge per se. The School of European Education located in Crete, the cradle of Minoan civilisation where thousands of years ago people of different traditions lived in harmony in the prosperous ancient Minoan society, adds to this challenge.The “Innovative Bioclimatic School Complex in Crete” will provide a contemporary educational environment: created by the utmost of bioclimatic design with the use of renewable energy sources, it will contribute to the development of students into conscious and conscientious world citizens.
