Round retreat is a spa house with 600 m². It is an eco-friendly design in terms of its form, space, and tectonics of architecture. The form has been driven to keep four existing trees on the site and its lifted pilotis minimize physical footprint. Through the building's transparency, residents maximize interactions with nature in its space where they could circulate continuously. It uses sustainable techniques such as natural light, water recycling, passive cooling. The gently sloped roof collects rainwater for irrigation, toilets. Blackwater is purified using a biofiltration system before it returns back to nature.
